The Ukrainian Banquet and Convention Hall at 1000 Byron Avenue in Ottawa is suitable for a wide variety of group functions and can accommodate up to 350 people with customized seating plans. Excellent for weddings, seminars, receptions, workshops and concerts.

The hall is situated west of the Westboro neighbourhood and north of Carlingwood Shopping Centre, just east of the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Richmond Road, just minutes from the Ottawa River Parkway and the Queensway.

Street level access is available to the foyer, cloakroom and a light-filled air-conditioned hall.

Tables and chairs will be set up as per your requirements (types of tables available and several different layouts are provided below)

Rental Details

Competitive rates, hall rental fee varies depending on the day of the week
Hall rental is available as follows:
- Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 11:00pm
- Friday & Saturday 8:30am – 1:00am (City of Ottawa Noise By-law Exemption Permit is required to play music and/or produce sound from 11:00pm to 1:00am)
- Sunday 4:00pm – 11:00pm
50% deposit of total rental fee and signing of the hall rental agreement is required to secure the hall booking
Balance payment and damage deposit are due no later than 14 days before the event

Types of tables available

35 round tables, each measuring 60" (5', 1.5m) in diameter, seating for 8 persons
37 rectangular tables, each measuring 96" x 30" (8' x 0.8', 2.4m x 0.25m), seating for 8-10 persons
10 rectangular tables, each measuring 72" x 30" (6' x 0.8', 1.8m x 0.25m), seating for 6-8 persons
